    How does Ebury protect my personal information?

    To protect your personal information from unauthorized access and use, we use security measures that comply with federal law. These measures include computer safeguards and secured files and buildings.

    How does Ebury collect my personal information?

    We collect your personal information, for example, when you

    • open an account or give us your contact information
    • provide account informationor tell us where to send the money
    • tell us who receives the money

    We also collect your personal information from others, such as credit bureaus, affiliates, or other companies.

    Why can’t I limit all sharing?

    Federal law gives you the right to limit only

    • sharing for affiliates’ everyday business purposes—information
      about your creditworthiness
    • affiliates from using your information to market to you
    • sharing for nonaffiliates to market to you

    What happens when I limit sharing for an account I hold jointly with someone else?

    Your choices will apply to everyone on your account – unless you tell us otherwise.


    AffiliatesCompanies related by common ownership or control. They can be financial and nonfinancial companies. 

    • Our affiliates include all institutions with the Ebury name or in the Ebury family of companies.

    Nonaffiliates: Companies not related by common ownership or control. They can be financial and nonfinancial companies. 

    • Nonaffiliates we share with can include insurance companies and other financial institutions.

    Joint marketing: A formal agreement between nonaffiliated financial companies that together market financial products or services to you

    • Ebury Partners US LLC does not jointly market.

    Other important information

    To the extent Ebury shares nonpublic personal information with nonaffiliates, Ebury wishes to obtain the affirmative consent of California consumers prior to sharing. Ebury will not sell, share, transfer, or otherwise disclose non-public personal information to or with any non-affiliated third party without Your explicit prior consent.
    Vermont law prohibits the sharing of credit reports and/or creditworthiness information with affiliates unless the consumer has consented to (“opted-in”) to such sharing. Therefore, and to the extent Ebury wishes to do so, Ebury will obtain affirmative consent of Vermont consumer prior to such sharing.
    The European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) grants certain rights to residents of European Union countries concerning their personal data. If data is subject to GDPR you may have the following rights, including but not limited to the
    following, under certain circumstances: (1) You may request information about what personal information Ebury has about you; (2) You may request rectification, deletion and or limitations of the processing of personal information, depending upon certain legal and/or contractual exceptions; and (3) You may have given Ebury consent to process personal information; you may revoke it in the same way it was granted.
